1. Acceptance and age

Hiruu is operated by Christos Papoukas, trading as Hiruu. Contact details for the service operator appear in section 12.

Only adults aged 18 or over may activate or use a Hiruu account. Initial registration may create a restricted pending account without collecting a date of birth. Before normal features become available, mandatory onboarding requires submission of a valid date of birth for the age check and accurate information. Hiruu retains the adult-eligibility result, not the submitted date. Future, invalid and under-18 dates do not activate the account.

One clear signup action may accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy, with both documents linked. Hiruu records separate evidence for the exact Terms acceptance and Privacy acknowledgement, including each document version, locale and timestamp. Privacy acknowledgement is not consent to optional marketing. Marketing is optional, is managed separately after signup, and is never a condition of an account or feature.

2. Accounts and security

Keep your credentials secure, use the account only for yourself or the business you are authorized to represent, and tell Hiruu promptly about suspected misuse. You are responsible for accurate profile and business information and for actions taken through your active sessions.

Hiruu may send essential security, account, work, billing, moderation, legal and deletion notices even when optional marketing is off. Chat and call features are not emergency services; contact the appropriate emergency service when urgent help is needed.

3. Workforce, hiring and business responsibilities

Users and businesses must provide accurate listings, applications, schedules, time, attendance, leave, pay, contract and accounting information. Businesses remain responsible for employment law, workplace safety, equal treatment, pay, tax and recordkeeping obligations.

Hiruu provides a technology platform. Unless separately agreed in writing, Hiruu is not an employer, employee, employment agency, payroll provider, tax, accounting or legal adviser, or a party to an employment contract between a user and a business.

AI-assisted schedules, generated CVs, statistics and other automated outputs are support tools that users and businesses must review for accuracy and suitability. A schedule, contract workflow, application, badge, rating, statistic or notification in Hiruu does not replace an official employment contract, payroll record, legally required workplace record or professional advice.

Hiruu rankings, reliability indicators, leaderboards, rewards and scheduling suggestions are informational support tools. A business must not use them as the sole basis for a significant adverse employment decision and must provide meaningful human review and an explanation when required.

4. Acceptable use and content

  • Do not harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against or impersonate another person.
  • Do not post fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, unsafe or discriminatory jobs, profiles, messages or media.
  • Do not expose phone numbers, private communications, identity documents or other personal data without authority.
  • Do not distribute malware, evade security controls, scrape data, manipulate rankings or automate abusive activity.
  • Only upload content that you have the right to use and that is appropriate for the intended work or communication feature.

The Community Standards form part of these Terms and give more detail about prohibited conduct and enforcement.

5. Reports, blocking, moderation and appeals

Hiruu provides report-user and report-content actions for chat, profiles and listings, together with blocking. Reports must be made honestly. Deliberately false or retaliatory reporting may itself violate these Terms.

Hiruu may remove content, reduce visibility, warn users, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence or notify authorities where proportionate and lawful. We notify the affected user of the reason and appeal route unless notice would create a safety, fraud, legal or investigative risk.

Users may appeal through the in-product decision notice or the published appeal path. Appeals receive a fresh review based on the decision, context and submitted evidence.

6. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Prices, plan features, renewal terms and taxes are shown before purchase. Native subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple App Store or Google Play; web business subscriptions are managed through Stripe. The applicable provider’s payment and refund rules also apply.

Where an offer is described as automatically renewing, it renews for the period shown unless it is cancelled before renewal through the applicable store or billing portal. A paid job, listing or job-profile boost is a one-time digital entitlement for the scope and duration shown before purchase; it does not guarantee views, applications, hiring, ranking or another outcome.

Coins, badges, rewards, nameplates and partner benefits are limited product features, have no cash value, are not stored money and cannot be withdrawn or transferred unless the feature expressly says otherwise. Any expiry or use limit is shown with the feature, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.

7. Your content and Hiruu rights

You keep ownership of content you create. You give Hiruu a limited license to host, process, adapt, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the selected service and meet legal duties. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for restricted retained copies required by law, safety or another user’s legitimate record.

Hiruu and its licensors own the service, software, branding and original materials. These Terms do not grant a right to copy, reverse engineer, resell or misuse them except where law expressly permits.

8. Third-party services

Features may rely on the providers accurately identified in the Privacy Policy, including identity, app-store, payment, verification, calling, storage, security and email providers. Their terms may apply to the part of the service they operate. Hiruu remains responsible for its own obligations and provider selection.

9. Suspension, deletion and retained records

You may stop using Hiruu and request account deletion. Accounts pending deletion or already deleted are removed from profiles, search, business pages, jobs and shared endpoints. Hiruu erases or anonymises associated data by category, subject only to the narrow legal-retention allowlist described in the Privacy Policy and Account Deletion page.

Hiruu may temporarily restrict or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk, legal requirement or non-payment, using proportionate action and an appeal path where appropriate.

10. Availability, liability and legal rights

Hiruu works to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every user, applicant, employer, listing or generated output is accurate or suitable. Users must apply their own judgment and businesses must make their own lawful employment decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hiruu is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer, employment, privacy or other rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. The competent courts of Thessaloniki shall have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory rights or jurisdiction available to consumers under applicable law.

12. Changes and contact

A material change receives a new Terms document ID and effective date. Hiruu may require acceptance of that new version before continued use. The exact accepted version and locale remain recorded.
